And Speaking Of Blasphemy...

Here, in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the balloons have extinguished their Night Glows, the aspen tree leaves have begun changing color, and I can't help but notice that a year has come and gone since Aspen Summit 2005 - yet no one of us has stepped forward to host a new Summit, or otherwise promote a Summit idea. Is it too late for something in 2006?

This year's Summit was a couple weeks ago, at the State-Wayne Theater. 8:45 screening of "Nacho Libre"

Seriously, I don't think it's too late, and as long as the Red Hot Chili Peppers aren't involved, I will attend. Say where.

How about New Orleans on November 8 to see, worship, Jolie Holland?

"Mexican Blue" is a psalm for the ages.

I've made some plans since my original post re: Summit. I'm in Michigan Tues Oct 17 - Mon 23, Bonaire Oct 24-Nov 2, and perhaps Denver Nov 15-16 to meet up with Scott. Additional vacation in Nov not probable. Fall color tour to Krolicki's cabin, anyone? Joe, do you think you can swipe the keys? Or at least pick me up at the airport [UA 1120, 5:03 PM]?

Bob,

I'm going to be in Holland with Scott, worshiping Angelina Jolie, or something.
