Avoiding "Twilight"

A badly-written review of Christmas On Mars, from the Onion. (“The main theme, as always, is confronting death and godlessness in a meaningless universe. "Cosmic reality, it's a real motherfucker," Fred Armisen announces. Crippled by low oxygen and their proximity to space's emptiness, the crew waits for a savior (or Santa Claus) that may never arrive.”) Now available on DVD.

Spoiler-free review of Harvard Beats Yale 29-29. The New York Times call it “preposterously entertaining”.

I don’t care for Charlie Kaufman’s movies, to put it mildly, but for those who do, Synecdoche, New York is in nation-wide release today.

Last -- and best of all -- a new, restored version of Buster Keaton's The General is available on DVD.
