It's a belated wish - by now it is tomorrow in the Land of the Rising Sun - due to Feral Boy's current employment unexpectedly lasting the whole day. (How do you domesticated humans do it?) The Kid Rock concert T-shirt and matching fedora, however, are already on their way.
You've got a crappy job as a sanitation worker. You'd rather be doing what you love, photography. Of course, you convert trash cans and dumpsters into pinhole cameras to take photos on the job, as some German sanitation workers have done.
"I was listening to The Royal Scam at work today, completely coincidentally, which is MY pick for the top Dan album. Not that I can really quibble with any of their '70s records (I have to confess I've never made it through Gaucho and the two most recent albums.) I was lucky enough to catch them performing that album in full in Chicago last fall, probably one of the few twenty-somethings in the audience. At one point, Donald Fagen mysteriously left the stage, only to saunter back a few minutes later, melodica in hand. My words cannot convey how beautiful it actually was. That saunter."

You deserve to have a long item. The large instrument is the symbol of any dandy. Don’t lose your chance in tool enlargement, we won’t offer again. Your dream about the large sausage can be now completed.
Titillating, poignant and beautiful, Yasmine Chatila's voyeuristic photo series "Stolen Moments" raises important questions about one's right to privacy. I don't think I'd appreciate being her unwitting model. More photos here.
I received an email containing the following album of excellent photos, supposedly the best of NG, 2009.
Surfing the NG site for the source (which I never found), I was nevertheless overwhelmed by the wealth of great photos. A great place to start exploring is Photo of the Day.
I was going through a newspaper index digging for historical information on a local person when I came across this heading for an article of August 3, 1945:
"Hey," the friendly Belizean said, approaching Rocky and Stoner at the streetside table of the Faya Wata bar in downtown San Ignacio. "Your friend is looking for you."
"Our friend with the headlamp?" Rocky said, assuming the man was speaking of Feral Boy.
"Yeah, the Fatman with the headlamp. He's looking for you down dere."
It's been barely six weeks since the arctic-fresh voice of Alaskan poet Sarah Heath Palin burst upon the lower 48. In campaign interviews, the governor, mother, and maverick GOP vice presidential candidate has chosen to bypass the media filter and speak directly to fans through her intensely personal verses, spoken poems that drill into the vagaries of modern life as if they were oil deposits beneath a government-protected tundra. <cont. in Comments>
I'm slowly cleaning up the archives to make searching easier, e.g., combining all Deep Blues years into one tag, all Summit years into one, etc., and eliminating other tags that are not useful. (Uhmm... "Grover Cleveland"?)
