This movie is disorienting, nauseating, gut-wrenchingly violent and horrifying; a few moments are almost unwatchable. It is also brilliant. Feral Boy says "check it out", and be sure to watch the FX DVD extra. DO NOT research the movie or its reviews beforehand.

I took Feral Boy's advice and rented Irreversible. I'm glad I saw it but would not feel right about recommending it to any one else as parts were almost as revolting as the "Two girls and a cup" video.
I did not watch the special features - forgot to look for them.
