I can't remember ever giving an honest listen to this monster-of-a-song until today when I stumbled onto this video (put together by ruarchitect in 2007). The guitar/organ interplay in the opening bars, the guitar solo, the nimble bass throughout - all are perfect. Though originally released during the height of the Vietnam War, this protest song's prescient lyrics provide for a poignant soundtrack to our American Empire's decade-long decay. Enjoy!
