Once accused, the cyber sorcerer is sentenced to work one year at a brick-and-mortar book store (where information is imprinted on, then shared via, sheets of wood pulp). Should she survive (and no mortal would), it is considered confirmation of her occult powers and she is burned at the stake by a consortium of surviving newspaper magnates.
Feral Boy: The number of surviving newspaper magnates would hardly add up to a consortium, even if you could get them to actually, you know, consort.
Also, while the Oxford Dictionary may have recognized "selfie" as a word, I am quite certain that "WWWitch" is not one, no matter how much you might claim otherwise.
I'm slowly cleaning up the archives to make searching easier, e.g., combining all Deep Blues years into one tag, all Summit years into one, etc., and eliminating other tags that are not useful. (Uhmm... "Grover Cleveland"?)

Lady Magnolia: oracle of death and destruction?
Lady Magnolia is more of a demi-oracle; she divines things that have already happened through the occultist practice of Facebooking.
In this case, I was able to determine events using a slightly older form of divination called Reading the Detroit Free Press.
Detroit Free Press online? Confirm or deny, WWWitch! (See what I did there?)
Let me get this straight: Lady Magnolia is able to travel back in time and bring back old newspaper articles. What strange powers!
Feral Boy, I think what you did there was develop a stuttering problem.
You're precious, LM!
No: it's a portmanteau of World Wide Web (w)itch.

But of course everyone knows that!
